9 - I can believe in the path I'm on - this line refers to Ky finding a purpose after the Crusades, leading Illyria in ways he believes are correct.

17 - I hope my path will be, - this line refers to Ky wanting to be a guide to the people of his Kingdom, he wants to be a figure people will follow and admire, and he wants Illyrians to follow his footsteps.
